Cozy Reader support

Email zachvivierdev@gmail.com with the email address of your Apple Account. You'll get a TestFlight invite. Install Apple's free TestFlight app, open the invite on your iPhone, and install Cozy Reader from TestFlight.

Take a screenshot in Cozy Reader and tap Share Beta Feedback, or open TestFlight, choose Cozy Reader, and tap Send Beta Feedback. Email works too.

On the Goodreads website, open My Books, choose Import and export, then Export Library, and download the CSV file. In Cozy Reader, open Settings, tap Import Goodreads CSV, and pick the file. Your shelves, ratings, dates, and reviews come along. Read books with no Date Read count as finished on the day you added them on Goodreads.

Yes, when each device is signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud. Settings shows whether iCloud sync is on. Books, lists, goals, and reading sessions sync. Themes, backdrop photos, and other settings stay on each device. Deleting a book deletes it on every device, so keep a backup too.

Open the Reading tab, pick the book in the Book row, and tap Start Reading. The book stays picked for next time. You can also start and stop from the Reading Mode widget, the Live Activity on the Lock Screen, or Siri. To see a session's book or change it, tap the session. A book's page shows its total reading time.

To start the timer automatically, add Cozy Reader to a Focus: in the Settings app, open Focus, then a Focus such as Reading, then Focus Filters. Add Cozy Reader and turn on Start the reading timer. The timer then starts when the Focus turns on and stops when it turns off.

In Settings, tap Back Up Now and save the file somewhere safe, such as iCloud Drive. Cozy Reader also saves a backup each week, which you can find in the Files app under On My iPhone (or On My iPad), Cozy Reader. To bring a backup back, tap Restore from Backup. Restoring adds what's missing and never removes anything.

Haptics are off by default. Turn them on in Cozy Reader's Settings. iOS also plays them only when System Haptics is on, in the Settings app under Sounds & Haptics.

Delete a book from its page. With iCloud sync on, that deletes it on every device. Deleting the app removes the library from that device only, and the synced copy stays in your iCloud account. To remove that copy too, delete your books in Cozy Reader while iCloud sync is on, then delete the app. See the privacy policy for details.
